The second volume of Vibro-Acoustics includes eight chapters. As in the first volume, each chapter ends with a number of problems. A number of measurement results are presented in Volume II. Most of these measurements could not have been performed without the expert help of Fritiof Torstensson and Arne Jagenas at Chalmers, Knut Ulvund at DNV and Kent Lindgren and Danilo Prilovic at KTH. I also gratefully acknowledge the pioneering work by Prof T.Kihlman, who introduced the field of vibro-acoustics in Scandinavia.
