關於作者：

刘秀杰，籍贯黑龙江，副教授，博士，从事英语教学工作21年，主讲“雅思听说”“雅思英语应试策略”“英语科技文献阅读”等7门本科生和研究生课程。近年来，主持省级教学改革项目1项、校级教学改革项目3项。出版专著1部、教材近10本；发表教学论文20多篇。荣获校级教学竞赛一等奖（2014年）、校级优秀教学奖二等奖（2015年）、学院青年教师贡献奖（2017年）和“外教社杯”全国高校外语教学大赛省级三等奖（2019年）、校级在线教学优秀教师奖（2020年）。担任剑桥商务英语（BEC）和雅思考试考官。曾在美国加州大学尔湾分校（UCI）英语系访学一年。主要研究方向为专门用途英语（ESP）。
